Scan-to-CAD: Accurate 2D Drawings From a Laser Scan
We scan the building with a Leica BLK and draw it from the point cloud: dimensioned floor plans and elevations as clean DWG files, ready for your AutoCAD workflow. Measured from the space itself, not traced over an old set.

One scan. Drawings you can open today.
Dimensioned DWG Floor Plans
Clean 2D floor plans drawn from the scan, delivered as DWG and ready to drop into your existing CAD workflow.
Interior and Exterior Elevations
Elevations drawn from the same scan, so heights, openings, and wall conditions line up with the plans instead of being re-measured separately.
PDF Sets for Review
The same sheets as PDF, so consultants, owners, and contractors can review and mark up without opening CAD.
Point Cloud Reference
The scan behind the drawings, available alongside them, so any dimension can be checked against the source.
Raw scan data as little as 48 hours after capture.
The point cloud is processed and available fast. Drawing time depends on the building's size and how many sheets you need, so we give you a specific date on the intro call before work starts.
A complete project, not a mockup.

Our Process
From the first call to a finished DWG set, one team scans, draws, and delivers the project. Nothing is handed off partway through.
The First Call
You'll spend 20–30 minutes on a call directly with the team doing the work, not a salesperson. We'll talk through your building, your timeline, and what you actually need at the end. If it's not a fit, you'll hear that on the call.
Onsite Capture
We plan the visit around how your building runs — after hours for retail, around tenants for occupied buildings. You'll know exactly who's on site and when.
Processing
Once we leave site, your data is processed and checked before anything goes out. You're not the quality control.
Delivery
You get your files in whatever format you actually work in — Matterport link, CAD, Revit, or straight video/photo files — plus a quick handoff call so nothing gets lost.
Industries
Architecture & Engineering Firms
Start from drawings measured off the building instead of spending the first week of a project on a measure-and-trace pass.
Commercial Real Estate
Get accurate plans before pricing a renovation or tenant improvement, rather than relying on plans from decades ago.
Developers & General Contractors
Bid and schedule against the conditions that exist, so differences from the old plans show up before construction, not during it.
Retail & Hospitality
Get current plans for a store or property before a refresh or build-out, without sending someone with a tape measure through every room.
Property & Facilities Management
Replace plans that stopped matching the building with a current set for maintenance, leasing, and renovation planning.

FAQ
Should I order Scan-to-CAD or Scan-to-BIM?+
If your team works in 2D and needs plans and elevations, Scan-to-CAD is the simpler, faster deliverable. If you need a 3D model for design coordination or clash detection, Scan-to-BIM is the right fit. Not sure? Describe the project on the intro call and we'll tell you which one fits.
Is this drawn from the scan or traced from our old drawings?+
From the scan. The point cloud is the source, so the drawings reflect the building as it exists today. Old drawings are still useful to us for planning the capture, and we'll ask for them if you have them.
How accurate are the drawings?+
We use a Leica BLK for these jobs, which is professional survey-grade equipment, so laser scanning is a highly precise capture method. Exact tolerances depend on the scanner setup and building conditions, so we'll walk through what's achievable on the intro call rather than quote a blanket number.
What file formats do I receive?+
DWG and PDF. Tell us your CAD version and any template or layer conventions up front so the files open cleanly on your end.
How long do the drawings take after the scan?+
It depends on the building's size and how many sheets you need. Raw scan data is available fast. Drawing timelines are scoped on the intro call once we know the project.
Can you scan an occupied building?+
Yes. We plan the scan around your building's schedule so it doesn't disrupt tenants or daily operations.
Do you cover projects outside South Florida?+
Yes. We're headquartered in Miami but scan nationwide and internationally, with projects across 23 states and 21 countries to date.
Tell us about the property. We'll tell you what it takes.
